I usually don’t like to use much fancy brushes, altho I like collecting them, mainly because I don’t want brushes to be the main focus of my works, but maybe I was thinking too much, whatever works, whatever looks good, eh? I’m trying to be less stuck up.

I think I found out that I have a thing for rhythm games, one that isn’t dance dance revolution. I mean, I like dance dance revolution, I even own a mat back when the very first version came out on PS1, but I found out that I cannot playing that game really well, because, well, simply my body wasn’t up for the challenging ^^; I would play one or two songs and had my body shook so bad that I can’t do anything for hour.

Then came along Taiko no Tatsujin, Which is better for me cos it doesn’t involve moving my whole body, and I think my arms are a tad stronger than my legs, since I use them extensively. (you know, comicking is LABOUR) but still, my record for Taiko is, 40 songs in a row, before my arms fell off.

and then, Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan

I got to try this game once before, but the first time I tried it, it didn’t strike my fancy very much, mainly because I didn’t like the songs in those stages that I played. Months later, Kotaku (either Kotaku or Joystiq) posted video of someone playing Ouendan in supposedly ‘uber hard’ mode, with girl cheerleaders. And the song in that stage was ‘Over the Distance‘ by Yaida Hitomi, which instantly caught my ears. and that, had me run to buy the game right away.

I wasn’t disappointed. It’s ideal game for me, it’s something that I can pick up for 5 minutes, taking a break from working. It wasn’t as taxing as Taiko, also It’s more convenient to pick up and put down than Taiko, and I can play my favorite song over and over.

I’m thinking about getting Guitar Hero, since it’s another big rhythm game that I didn’t try yet, but it doesn’t come cheap, and I have to import it only, and because of the controller, the shipping cost is high, and I probably got taxed the hell outta it *shudder*

• Kokoro Odoru Nobodyknows, Potter stage, JESUS I HATE THIS STAGE, *shake fist* I was stuck in this stage forever since easy mode, normal mode, and sure as hell in hard mode too when it comes, T^T

too bad I can’t find ‘Taisetsuna Mono’ by Road Of Major, that song is in Taiko too, and I like it.

this is pretty much done, except for a few details like on nav top and links at bottom, but that can wait till Fred go back to UK.

we are on vacation now! after a LONG month of heavy-duty comic drawing.

I still have to fix a few things for this comic (Jinn) before sending it off, but nothing major, we will post previews here later.

After that we’ll be working on Tokyopop proposal, one more try.

Then Finish new issue of Co_OKiE..

Then continue working on Clarence..

My schedule is full till next year, but non of them made me a million! dammit.

my dear friend already bastardize this comic, and it haven’t even gone to print yet XD

those doesn’t stop me tho.. but I have to wait till I finish current project which is till the end of Feb T^T

and not only that, they want it BIG, to be exact, the size of two Mcdonald tables we were at. I never done anything bigger than A4 to be honest, I was hesitated but they even encourage me, plus the money is always good, so I said yes and even told them it would only take a week.

I got cocky, it took almost a month :P

The size was really big, I don’t have any table big enough to work on, at first I tried to work on the floor, but I’m getting old. my back was breaking. My dad suggest I should tape it on the wall instead. It was a bit better but not much, definitely not my idea of work condition.

Working on something this big is really not easy for me, only one good thing about it I can come up with probably that your stroke doesn’t really have to be precised. That alone isn’t worth all other troubles. Smudge is my number one mortal enemy, Because my hand sweated SO much that I actually smeared the ink after it was totally dried O_O

other trouble is copic, copic isn’t meant to be used in WIDE area, it was almost impossible to keep it even, even with wide tip.

looked like done, but not yet. I almost let it go like this because I know I couldn’t really keep copic paint even in wide area, and I don’t want to fuck it up, but our dear Fehed insisted I shouldn’t leave it like this. he suggested that I just put some shadow under Clarence and on tree. Then I remembered that I have three aircan for copic airbrush left, I decided to use copic airbrush for the sky, probably better than trying to paint it with copic normally.

came out not bad at all, looked definitely finished!

and when I finally got it, I spent it all playing Lineage II.

it got pretty sick even imo ^^;; all I did for two weeks was waking up, logging in, play, play, play, the only time I wasn’t sitting in front of pc clicking away was when I slept and when I was in bathroom.

I survived.

and that two weeks vacation is now over, time to get back to clarence and general whinging, XD

but I didn’t because…

1. I want RAM at least 512MB, but the only way to get that is to pay 5000 baht more for 512 RAM stick because mac mini has only one slot and the shop won’t buy back the 256 that come with it, that mean I would be left with useless 256 mac RAM that I cannot use anyway, and the price would sky rocketing to 30,000 baht…

2. I want Tiger, but that’s another 5000 baht to pay…

3. I want mac keyboard, and that’s really expensive for just a keyboard.

4. mac mini has only one audio output, which mean I can not use my 5.1 cambridge soundworks…

5. mac mini has only 2 USB port, I need USB port for at lease printer, scanner AND wacom tablet…

6. chances are that my scanner might not work with mac..

7. Lineage II doesnt have mac version.. < -- this isnt really important, I can always keep pc for just playing game..

I wanted it so much, I tried and tried to work it out, but there’s really no way I can buy and use mac effectively unless I have more money ;_; damn me for being such a poor fool..
