Six Killer Bunnies is a collaborative site between Fehed (a writer) and Shari (an artist). We’ve been attempting to break into the wonderful world of Published Comics. Our work varies in styles and subjects. You can read a few of our earlier works online on this site and keep track of our luck with publishers.

Why Comics:
why not? I can’t actually remember when I started, I feel like I have been drawing comics all my life. I grew up reading loads of manga and it’s always been my goal of life to become comic artist and drawing for living.
Why Six Killer Bunnies:
The name striked me square in the chest. I think it started with killer rabbit, some website review Sin City and said Elijah Wood’s character is like ‘Killer Rabbit‘, that that brought picture of cute bunnies doing matrix-ish kung-fu in my head and those kungfu bunnies won’t leave me alone. I ran the URL idea past Fehed. He wouldn’t agree until he saw rough version of logo that I designed and the rest is history :D
What do you think of Fehed:
Fehed is a very good friend and I dare say one of the important people in my life. He’s pretty much the reason I get to do what I’m doing right now. Knowing him is the best thing that happened in my life so far. Working with him can be taxing =.= (meanie!) and it got really ugly sometimes. He’s always wanting things to be perfect (picky!) and sometimes I feel like it was beyond my skills. But despite (or perhaps because of :D) that, I enjoy working with him, and I found that him pushing me forward all the time benefits me. To make this short, girls! Fehed is great! and he has curly hair! email him! XD *runs*

Why Comics:
Why not? I’m not much of a writer, more of a story teller really. My writing can be quite terrible at the best of times, but it’s not always the fault of the story. I do have some good ideas. My spelling and grammar can get in the way quite a bit, so I’m not novelist material. I found that I’d prefer to write screen-plays. I visualised my stories and I wanted to bring the scenes and characters across visually too. I always pictured my stories as short films. I’d never considered writing for comics until I met Shari. She helped create characters for a site theme I was working on. Then I found out she was a working Mangaka and it kind of just took off from there.
Why Six Killer Bunnies:
Shari put the idea in my head. We had a site already and I didn’t want to change the URL for it. I said no at first, lots. But then my mood for change took over and, well, it is a pretty cool URL to have. IT’S OURS!! ALL OURS!! HAHAHAHAHAHA
What do you think of Shari:
We’ve been friends for quite a long time now. She’s a great artist. She’s not just my partner in crime, I’m also a big fan of her style. One thing I love about the way she works, is that she’s always improving. But hey, it’s not all jokes and laughs, we have some serious fights when it comes to work. She’s headstrong and her stubborness at times, I find, mixed with my own is what keeps us both in check. We’ve both improved vastly I believe since the early days because of this. She doesn’t coddle me when it comes to my writing and vice versa. She’s always willing to experiment and try new styles. She’s a Mangaka at heart, but she can also draw some great looking toons. I find that of late, her art has very much influenced the way I write. The visuals I have in my head are so much clearer now because of this and my attention to detail has increased. To summarise, Shari’s grand! (most of the time. She ain’t perfect!)
