The Clarence Principle by Fehed Said and Shari Chankhamma - 224-page graphic novel, $12.95
Embark on a surreal voyage into an unconventional vision of the afterlife. Clarence wakes to the aftermath of his own suicide and a hidden message spawns his journey beyond. Follow Clarence’s twisted tale, as he meets whimsical characters whose fates are destined to intertwine with his.
If you’re looking to get a copy of The Clarence Principle, we recommend that you try Borders or Waldenbooks . The bookstores ordered far more copies than comic book stores did. And of course, it’s also available from the SLG website, www.slgcomic.com.
Kevin Melrose at the Blog@Newsarama chooses The Clarence Principle as his pick of the week. “I’ve been looking forward to The Clarence Principle since SLG Publishing announced it back in February,” he writes.

To celebrate, Shari and I asked a friend, Carrie Dean, to create some LJ icons for us. Here’s a small sample:

You can see all 20 icons and download the full set here.

I posted a comment in the slg livejournal community but I’d just like to let the two of you know how much I enjoyed your book. I picked it up at my comic shop and already it’s making the rounds with my non-com friends.
Several times while we were discussing it afterwards we mentioned how much we’d love it if we had the two of you in on the conversation to pick your brains. Don’t want to barrage you with a million unsolicited questions but if you guys were up for talking about your work, that’d be awesome :)
Riku: thanks dude! I have no idea how long it’ll take to get to Australia XD maybe you should ask your local book store or comic store if they can order it for you, and thus they might be inclined to stock it too haha
Maria: awesome! I’m really glad you guys are enjoying the book and to hear that it’s the topic of debate is fantastic ^_^ it’s what we’d hoped for. I’m planning to do a new audio blog soon and I’d love it if you and your friends would email me your questions. I’ll most likely only pick out the ones that aren’t spoilers to answer though. I’ll pass a bunch on to Shari too. How’s that sound? Click here to mail us.
To any international folk who may not be able to find it in comic book stores, you can also order it from Eyemelt (on toasted rye). I have no clue what format it is though.
thanks kayay. and to fehed, i asked my brother and he said if any store had it or could get it it would have to be kinokuniya. i shall try both kinokuniya and eyemelt. thanks alot!
