I woke up to the sound of the front door ringing. The proof of the ‘publishers preview’ version book of Clarence finally arrived. I tore the packaging open, saw the book and suddenly, I kid you not, my chest ached.

It wasn’t a bad ache, it was more like a very large weight that I never knew was there, was suddenly removed right off my chest. It hurt, but in a good way, if that makes any sense. I honestly never knew how stressed out I’d been over this project till now.

I call up Pims to talk to our contact about payment and stuff around 9:30 this morning:

Fehed: Hey David, it’s Fehed here from Sweatdrop
David: Oh hey, how are ya mate?
Fehed: I’m good, got the proof, looks great, only niggle with it is it’s a bit darker than I expected

*blah blah technical chat blah*

Fehed: Don’t worry about it, it’s fine like this, it looks great all the same. Don’t want to cause any headaches on your end :)
David: Nah, it’s my job :) besides, every once in a while you get a job you enjoy doing
Fehed: Oh so you read it?
David: I have to ask mate, you ever considered seeking out therapy? *laughs*
Fehed: LOL
David: Some of the stuff that comes out of your head! How do you sleep at night?!?
Fehed: Very well thanks XD did you like it?
David: Yeah, I haven’t finished reading it yet though

Shame it’s only a preview and there’s no ending to it yet XD
